Intro to Digital Photography – 4 part series.
$30/session, or $100 if you prepay – on or before February 6, 2012
 
Did you get a new digital camera for Christmas?  Or have you had one you just don’t know how to use?  This series of workshops will bring you from a beginner, to a seasoned photo taker!  We will be covering all aspects of digital photography, from the basics to editing and how to share pictures with friends and family!
 
Please bring your camera, camera’s manual if available, and questions, to each class.  We will have assistants on-hand to help with everyones cameras and questions.
Time:  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

April 28, 2012 - Now What do I do with these pictures?:  Saving, Editing, printing, and sharing your photos for friends and family. Bring your laptop and camera for this session.

By popular demand, Berks Photographic Society is doing another run of the our popular class on Adobe Lightroom. Presented by R. Jarett Kulm

If you or anyone you know is into photography, come learn about the best …photo editing, organizing, searching photography app on the market!

A laptop with Adobe Lightroom, and pictures to work on are needed for the class. The 30day trial of lightroom will be sufficient for the class.

There will be a lot of hands on editing, with expert lightroom helpers from the club on hand.

This will be an awesome time of collaboration, learning, helpful tips.

Learn how to organize, backup, fix your workflow, do touchups without photoshop, create print packages, upload right to facebook or your website!

Learn how “orange is everything”, and a few things Photoshop cannot do to clean up skin with rosasea or jaundicy babies, but lightroom can!

Lunch provided. (Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions)

You may register at the door.

This week’s theme was Time and we did have a couple of entries which are shown below.  Please complete your voting by next Sunday January 29th by 7pm.  The winner will be announced at that time.  Next Sunday is also the deadline to submit entries for the next theme which will be Morning.  So take your best picture of your morning routine, or a spectacular sunrise or anything that you think captures the essence of morning.

We had no entries submitted for the contest for this week, either the subject was not of interest to people or no one had time.  Hopefully you all will have time next week, because that is next week’s subject.  Please take your best picture of Time and submit it by next Sunday at 7pm.  No voting to do this week (obviously).
